Youth Group News
Hi! We're excited to announce our first meeting of the temple's Youth Group took place at 6:00pm on Sunday, January 28,
where we discussed future projects and programs and gathered information about the members' interests.
(And, of course, there was pizza!) The next meeting will be Sunday, February 11 at 6:00pm
(skipping Super Bowl Sunday), and we would like to invite the youth and their parents to discuss
possible events and dates in the upcoming year and to introduce ourselves.
To start, we recently moved to Lynchburg from the Northeast. Joe is a family doctor at the Johnson Health Center,
and Marni is Community Outreach Director and Volunteer Coordinator at Lynchburg Grows.
We are excited to get to know the members of the youth group, help transform the youth lounge into a welcoming and fun retreat,
and broaden the horizons of the Jewish youth of the Greater Lynchburg community through interesting and innovative programming!
